Hey! It’s Tidbit Tuesday again and we’re back with a familiar topic – pillowcases! We know that a lot of you have been making these for ages, but we got a request, so here we go…
Pillowcases are one of the easiest projects for a quilter – young or old – and this time of year, it’s always good to have a stash of them for gifts. Teach a youngster how to make them and not only will you be the best person in their life, but they will be so proud to have a homemade gift to give at Christmas.
For the month of November, we’ll be offering pillowcase kits on the website, precut, in a variety of themes. Check back often as we’ll be adding different ones as we go along.
Also, as long as we’re on the topic of pillows, we’re giving you a quick tutorial on envelope backings for pillows. Let’s face it if buying gifts is going to be as difficult as they are predicting (let’s hope they’re wrong), a Hand Made Christmas will be just what is needed.
